A friend sent me a link to an article on a prominent website which was about Codex but riddled with misinformation and confusion. To make matters worse, large sections of the 32 page email had been lifted, without attribution, directlly from our website and other writings of mine. Frankly, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry: to be annoyed that my writings were used without letting people know where they came from or to be grateful for that fact since there was so much error and confusion in the piece!

But then I realized what a great opportunity to correct these common (and uncommon) misconceptions for the site author and his large audience (and for the author of the piece whom I wrote to) this presented.
