Senator Jon Testor (D MT) has introduced an amendment to S. 510 offering some protection to small farmers and local restaurant suppliers. The answer of the Powers That Be? "Go away and play in traffic, Sonny!"
Well, here's a surprise: WE, you and I, and every man-jack of us, are, in fact the Powers That Be! Right now, this minute, what it takes for us, We-The-Power-People, to exert our power sucessfully is for us to mobilize enough people to take the Action Item, http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=4613, so that there is AT LEAST 1 person taking it PER SECOND. That's 86,400 people sending 432,000 emails a day.
Impossible? Not really. If you take the "Senator, Place a HOLD on this bill NOW!" Action Item, http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/568/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=4613, right now, once for every member of your family (average, let's say, 3 submissions from your computer) and you mobilize 10 people to do the same who have, on average, the same number of people in their families, that would be 16,500 emails (which is the same number, coincidentally, of new IRS employees that the wretched, and most certainly unconstitutional, Obamacare bill authorizes to terrorize us). And if each of the people you contact then gets 10 more people to submit the Action Item once for each of their family members, again averaging 3 people per household, .... You get the idea!
Every one of those emails gets counted, every one goes into the tally. Individually, frankly speaking, they mean little. But, in the aggregate, they are enormously powerful, as you, the Natural Solutions Netroots, have shown over and over again.
Given the enormous power and danger of S. 510, and the fact that it is heavily pushed by Abribiz forces, it certianly is time to saddle up that Freedom Mouse and hit the Internet Highway at high speed.
As of today, despite industry pressure and the Fraud and Death Administration's urgent letter asking Congress to give it more money and a LOT more power to do the job it is supposed to do even more poorly with even more power to abuse, S. 510 is, according to our sources in the Senate, not yet on the docket for consideration although our friends in the Senate tell us it could hit the Senate Calendar next week. When, or if, it does come to the Senate Floor for a vote, it MUST be defeated.

THUNDERING HERD OF

That is where the thundering herd of galloping Freedom Mice on the Internet SuperHighway comes in. The herd is galloping, all right, but we need more thunder.
If you ever want to grow, or eat, an organic carrot or chicken breast, or tomoato or egg, bean sprout or lettuce leaf again, one that has not been sprayed and nutritionally flayed, one that has never been irradiated, one that has not been transformed genetically from, as soil stueward John Crocket of www.MiracleSoil.com says, "Food" into "PHUDE", stuff that is not even worthy of the ancient designation of "food", then you need to act and act powerfully now.

How long will this action take? This past Sunday, during our live show (10 AM to 1 PM, Eastern, Every Sunday), it was our great priviledge to interview Max Gerson, M.D.'s daugher, Charlotte Gerson, and grandson, Howard Straus (www.Gerson.org).
