Let's Help Him By Seizing This Spectacular Opportunity to
Protect Our Food, Our Health AND Our Freedom From Industrialization
Jack Kingston (R, GA) is the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies, the committe which funds the FDA. He has made it clear that he does not believe that adding $1.5 Billion to the FDA's budget is fiscally wise or necessary. Besides, he says, food borne illness is not really the problem that it is cracked up to be and if it is, State regulation and inspection is the place to combat it.
Right on, Congressman! Whatevery your motivation for not funding the dangerous Monsanto-friendly, freedom-hostile law we'll take it and support you in this.
Senator Thomas Harkin says that Jack Kingston cannot be serious because the Republicans would not dare to block funding for the new law. Let's help them dare to block funding it. Here's how:

"Hello, my name is [Your Name] and I am calling to support NOT funding HR 2751's mis-named "Food Safety" provisions. They increase federal costs without any meaningful food safety gain and make it impossible for small farmers, including organic farmers, to survive the regulations. I urge the Congressman NOT to fund this law which was passed to serve the interests of Big Agribiz despite the enormous outpouring of opposition by ordinary people."
