MCCASKILL'S OFFICE AND USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT HOST GRANT INFORMATION SESSION IN BOONE COUNTY
Session will connect area organizations and municipalities with resources and opportunities to compete for federal grant funding through USDA Rural Development
COLUMBIA - As part of an ongoing effort to equip Missouri businesses with the tools needed to succeed, the office of U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill will host a USDA Rural Development Grant Information session in Columbia on Monday, December 5th, to provide resources and useful tools to help organizations apply for and access federal grants and loan programs that support public infrastructure, job growth, and business development.
Competitive federal grants bring federal assistance to Missouri in an honest and fiscally responsible manner. McCaskill believes helping organizations learn how to access federal dollars through competitive grant programs is an important step in ensuring strong community infrastructure and keeping the awarding of federal dollars transparent.
USDA Rural Development representative Steven Gerrish will provide information to area organizations on opportunities that might be appropriate for their needs and resources to help them apply for federal dollars through USDA Rural Development.
