Your person freedom is, once again, in serious jeopardy. Food freedom is a major battle ground for all freedom and NOT having the right to know what is in your food, because corporations want to hide their food contamination, is a perfect example. Your food is contaminated by GMOs that can, quite literally, damage every cell in your body.  Consumers do not want to eat that stuff.  Corporations do not want them to know that they ARE eating it so they make it impossible label it. Take Vermont, for example. The Vermont Right to Know Genetically Modified Food Act (H.722) passed by the State House Agriculture Committee on April 20th. Overwhelming popular support has carried the bill forward to widespread jubilation with that vote. And then.... nothing.  Monsanto made it known that they would sue the State of Vermont if the bill were passed and the Governor of Vermont made it clear that he was not prepared to sign a law that would lead to a crippling lawsuit by Monsanto. So government policy is, once again, subject to corporate control.  Benito Mussolini made it clear that fascism is the merger of corporation and state policy and control.  Since Big Pharma and Big Phude control the FDA and USDA and Big Chema controls the EPA, if you believe that the corporatist state is already upon us, that is, the fascist state, I am afraid I would have to agree with you. Fascism implies the tragedy of a tyrannical police state.  If you have missed the invasion and cancellation of your privacy, free speech, rights to due process, and every other Constitutional protection, you have either been in a coma, deep in a lead mine where no news has reached you, or drugged very heavily with "Don't Worry, Be Happy!" psychoactive drugs. The battle is joined. Vermont, Connecticut, California and other states are using the power of their legislative processes to demand GMO labeling.  Biotech corporations are fighting for their lives, by threatening yours with their unsafe and hidden products.
