THANKSGIVING IS A SPECIAL TIME General Stubblebine and I are deeply grateful for the opportunity life has offered us to make a difference in the world, not just one patient at a time (a great joy and priviledge which we appreciated with love and humility for decades in our private practice of drug free psychaitry and medicine.) When we decided to close our practice in late 2004 (just under 3 years ago) in order to take on the health freedom battle for all us us (rather than just stock a freezer chest or two with nutrients which would soon disappear or wholesome foods for our own health), we knew that we were leaping off an abyss.  We knew that the battle ahead would be won - or lost - not by our actions alone, but by the creation of a strong and determined - and LARGE - army of health freedom warriors willing to speak up, act up and uphold the values and realities of natural health options and freedom for all of us. Let me tell you what Thanksgiving brings up for me.  General Bert and I are far from our families on this quintessential American family day because of the health freedom work we are doing (frankly, that's really hard) but we are deeply thankful for: 1.) Oddly enough, I am grateful for the immense hubris and over-reaching arrogance of the other side.  For example, vaccination at the point of a gun (and the fangs of an attack dog) in Prince George's County, Maryland, by a State's Attorney who protected his own children from the very same vaccines: "All of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye I saw an armed guard with a dog emerge from the Courthouse and walk toward us. I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. It was the dread that any citizen of any country in any century has ever felt when an armed guard with a dog starts advancing. As if we were common criminals or terrorists, he yelled and gestured to us to move behind the stones. We moved without a word. And the sick feeling in the pit of my stomach told me we were being shown the power of the State wielded by that armed guard with the dog, just as parents inside the Courthouse were being shown the power of the State wielded by doctors with syringes." Read more http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/index.php/?p=458 The global campaign against clean food and health is so outrageous and so visible that it allows us to track it, clock it, counter it and neuter it.  If the other side were less cocky, less arrogant, less sure of themselves, they would be more clandestine and our job would be harder.  But they are very visible and astonishingly heavy handed so our job of informing people and enlisting their support as members of the pro-health team is actually easier than it would otherwise be.    4.) I am deeply grateful to EONs, the Ecological Options Network, http://www.eon3.net/, for their creative and devoted work in creating an outstanding documentary DVD series on health freedom and the Codex Agenda in partnership with the Natural Solutions Foundation.  We commissioned this novel and much-needed series: a Health Freedom Library (whose first installment on Compulsary Drugging will be out early in 2008) and a full length DVD focused on the Codex Agenda, includng an exclusive interview - which he might not be so happy with when it screens - with Dr. Rolf Grossklaus direct from the most recent Codex meeting in Germany!  Their skill and sophistication are exceptional and the are adding greatly to our ability to tell our story clearly and effectively. Why?  Because the advance of the forces eroding (or cancelling) or freedoms is so hard to comprehend, so antithetical to everything that we think we are and that we want to be that documetations like these of what we must defend against are, although truly horrible, necessary to remind us of the realities we are facing.  Hearing about these insanities (like waterboarding) is not the same as witnessing them.  And, once witnessed, they must be responded to by those of us who treasure liberties for ourselves and others to the same passionate degree. 6.  I am also very thankful for the continuing support of our strategists, lawyers, legislative consultants, health professionals and other experts who keep us up to date on the latest information to protect and preserve the Health Freedom we all deserve and cherish. So I am thankful for many things and thankful, too, that we still have the opportunity to make things right and the will to do it.  Most of all I am thankful that if this is the journey we need to take, that we are on it together.  I hope your Thanksgiving is blessed with love and warmth.  And I hope that every Thanksgiving coming is rich in freedom for all of us.
